2025 Netball
Results and Images
The Netball ran very smoothly and on time despite the difficult conditions. Overall a very successful and enjoyable day.
Due to intense heat in the afternoon the rest time between games was increased so the girls could hydrate and cool down in the shade.
In total 19 teams took part from 5 different clubs. There was a high standard level of play with regional players and two international players taking part in the U19 tournament. 160 girls participated throughout the day and 8 sports leaders assisted with the junior tournaments in the morning – running results desks, umpiring U11 and U12 tournaments and timekeeping.
Many thanks to the adults from each club who helped with umpiring during the afternoon U19 tournament. Thanks also to Wenlock Lightning parents Ruth Tindall and Claire Selby who ran results and manned first aid.
It was a pleasure to have Helen Cromarty and Sue Hayward welcome the juniors in the morning. Sue stayed with us all day and presented the medals following the junior tournaments in the morning and assisted WBS Head Ruth Shaw with the U19 presentations at the end of the afternoon.

Results 2024
Following a very successful day where we were honoured to have WOS president Jonathan Edwards with us throughout the day to watch and present the medals, these are the results from the netball tournament.
U18 — For the first time ever we had joint gold medalists with identical points and goals scored and goal difference !
