Attending the Wenlock Olympian Games - Sport
The 139th Games, 2025 will take place in June and July 2025. Please note that due to issues with the certification of the athletics track this event will not be held this year. The dates and locations of those events taking place will be added below as they are finalised. Events this year are expected to include:
- Badminton – Saturday 12th July 1:00 – 5.30 p.m. at Much Wenlock Leisure Centre
- Equestrian
- Equestrian RDA
- Junior Netball – Saturday 12th July 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at Much Wenlock Leisure Centre
- Archery – Sunday 6th August at Withington
- Fencing– Saturday 12th July 1:00-5.30 p.m.
- Hockey
- Long Distance Walk
- Bowls singles
- Bowls doubles
- Pickleball – Saturday July 12th at Much Wenlock Leisure Centre
- Road Race (7-mile) – 11:00 a.m., Sunday 13th July 2025, Gaskell Field, Much Wenlock
- Rowing
- Tennis
- Trail Race
- Swimming
- Kwik Cricket

Athletics
Athletics will not be part of the Games this year. Unfortunately due to the track condition we could not hold the event without a significant spending to improve the track. A Crowdfunding Appeal is being set up to help meet the cost of renovating the surface so that athletics can return to the Games in 2026.
