Long Distance Walk - 29th June 2025
This is an approximately 10 mile well-marked circular walk through the stunning Shropshire countryside. It begins and ends in the town of Much Wenlock.
Start Location: Much Wenlock Priory Hall, TF13 6HS.
Registration: The Priory Hall will be open from 8.30 a.m.
Start time: Entrants can start the walk between (no earlier than) 9.00 a.m. and (no later than) 10.00 a.m.
Route: The route is mainly off-road with a short section on country lanes and is undulating. In due course the route description will be available here for download. Note, the route includes a section over restricted access land with the kind permission of the landowner. Access to that section of the route is not allowed either before or after the event. The route will be fully marked and marshalled.
Entry:
- £15 per person
- No entries on the day
- Maximum number of entries: 100
- Closing date: 21st June 2025 or when the maximum number of entries is reached

Parking: Parking is available in several public car parks in the town.
Conditions:
- Walkers only please, not runners
- No dogs – due to livestock on route
- Minimum age 14
- Under-18s to be accompanied by an adult guardian
- Participants will be issued with a medical note tag which must be easily available if first aid is required.
Drinks and snacks will be available at registration, the checkpoint and the finish. Please inform us if you have any food allergies. Please bring a mug/drinking vessel
Clothing: Please bring appropriate equipment for changeable weather condition
Certificate: All entrants who complete the walk will receive a timed certificate.
