WENLOCK OLYMPIAN SOCIETY

The mile race is the inauguration of the ‘Wenlock Mile”.

If you don’t fancy running the 7 mile race, we are offering a timed mile event. Come and help us launch the creation of a permanently marked mile course on the Gaskell Field in Much Wenlock.

This is a community event open to club runners, social runners, families and children.

When: Sunday July 13th

Where: Gaskell Field, Much Wenlock (same location and day as the Heritage 7 mile road race)

Who: Entries welcome from runners aged 9 – 90+. Age groups will be U11, U13, U15, 16+ and 50+ with Olympian Games medals for the fastest runners in each age group. Races arranged as time trials. Further prizes for other categories.
Entry fee is £4 (£5 on the day but not guaranteed due to restricted numbers).
